This colorful, sterling silver dragonfly pendant is inlaid with beautiful stones. The head is Sleeping Beauty turquoise with inlaid jet eyes, and the antenna are sterling silver. The wings on top are mother of pearl with inlaid red coral, and the wings on the bottom are pink mussel shell with inlaid turquoise. the body is three segments, the top is pink mussel shell, the middle is red coral, and the bottom is red coral. Dragonflies have different, yet similar meanings throughout Native America. In Zuni, they are messengers between this world and the next and are related to the coming rains and corn. In other tribes they are strong protectors, as dragonflies are one of the very few creatures that can fight while flying backwards. They are known to watch our backs and offer protection. Their symbol is a vertical line with two horizontal bars, and can be seen on war shirts, shields and painted on horses going into battle.
Zuni jeweler, Diana Shebola, made this inlaid natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise pendant set in sterling silver. Six water drop shaped turquoise stones are set in a flower shape, with matching stones on top and bottom. She added ten sterling silver round accents around the flower shape. The bale is large enough for a smaller chain.
Navajo jeweler, Karma Harvey, made this finely detailed sterling silver small pendant and set a deep teal colored turquoise in it. It has a graceful leaf on the right side and a perfect little flower on the left side with two silver balls on the bottom of the flower. Under the flower is line of silver that had detailed line cuts. The bale would fit a medium sized chain.

Wolves are communal creatures with excellent communication skills. They communicate to hunt together and live together. They are powerful relatives, and in some tribes, there are stories about an agreement of respect made long ago between the wolves and human beings.
We love how Navajo Jeweler, Roger Pino, used two slightly different colors of turquoise in this piece, one a bit lighter than the other. The sterling silver chain attaches to two delicate silver pieces that include a graceful leaf with two thin coiled silver wires at the bottom, and three silver domes. These are attached to a similar design of leaves and coiled wires that surround the top turquoise stone. Attached to the bottom is the second turquoise. The entire piece is ultimately feminine.

This spectacular 3" diameter turquoise cluster pin/pendant made by Navajo jeweler, Zarita Begay, can be worn either way. There are 103 sett turquoise stones which were hand cut with each set in its own handmade bezel. there is twisted wire between each row of stones, and soldered silver half circles of sterling silver wire between the other stones and the next set of stones. It is all on oxidized silver to enhance the silver and stones. The bale will fit a small to medium size chain and it has a 2" long pin on the back.
This pendant was handmade by Navajo jeweler, Daniel Benally. The chrysocolla stone has beautiful shades of green from emerald to the softest color of green. It also has dark brown matrix, with one of the spots shaped like a heart! There is twisted wire all around the bezel, a beautifully cut-out outer setting, and five repousse stars at the bottom. The bale is large enough for a thicker chain.
This traditional petit point pendant was made by Zuni jeweler, Veronica Martza. Each of the twenty-seven Sleeping Beauty stones were cut to perfection and set in a bezel. She soldered sterling silver balls between each stone, and a twisted silver wire between the three rings of stones. The back piece of silver is oxidized to turn it black to set off the stones. This is a wonderful pendant.
