Lena Boone is Leland's mother. She saw Murano glass vases in a store quite a number of years ago and was inspired to try to use one as carving material. It turned out to be a good move for the whole family.

Traditionally, Zuni carvings are symbolically fed cornmeal. Each Zuni fetish comes in a box with a descriptive card and a tiny bit of corn meal to tide them over until they reach you.
