Here Comes the Sun

Carefully created by Zuni jeweler, Delwin Gasper, this is the Zuni symbol for the Sun Katsina.  You can bring the sun with you even on the cloudiest of days!  Mother of Pearl, natural red coral, and turquoise form the feathers.  The center Sun face is inlaid with the same stones, plus jet, which is also the stone in the elongated triangles around the face.  Set in sterling silver with a bale wide enough for a thicker chain or 2mm beads, it also has silver dots between each feather.
