Navajo carver, Jayne Quam, carved these two foxes that are bound together with their life-long love, devotion, and commitment.  The longer fox is carved from Picasso marble and has inlaid turquoise eyes.  The smaller fox is carved from orange alabaster and also has inlaid turquoise eyes.  Their faces are sweetly nuzzled together.  The offering bundle has a beautiful abalone arrowhead with a clam shell and cobalt blue bead on top.  It is wrapped together with heishi, a blue bead, and a red bead.

This is a perfect gift for your beloved, or as an engagement, wedding, or anniversary gift.

Size: 1.125" H x 3.5" L x 1" W

Foxes, wolves and coyotes all mate for life.  These bushytails are bound together with their life-long love, devotion, and commitment.  They  come with a card detailing the meaning of them being bound together.

Wolves, coyotes and foxes all look the same in the distance.  In Zuni there is a word that translates into "bushytail" in English.  These bushytail are foxes.  Foxes are playful, clever, quick, and protective of their young.  They also mate for life, and are indigenous to every continent except Antarctica.

Traditionally, Zuni carvings are symbolically fed cornmeal.   Each Zuni fetish comes in a box with a descriptive card and a tiny bit of corn meal to tide them over until they reach you.
