This catlinite badger by Lena Boone looks like it is keeping a lookout!  We can imagine it poking its head out of its burrow to make sure all is well before heading out into the world.  Lena inlaid bright blue turquoise eyes, and detailed the little hears, paws, and tail.  The offering bundles has a mother of pearl arrowhead, and is bundled together with two turquoise beads.  It feels so good in the hand!

Size: 1" H x 2.25" L x 1" W

In the Zuni tradition badgers are the guardians of the south.  Badgers are fierce, you would not want to mess with one!  They are creatures of both the world underground where their dens are, and the world on Mother Earth’s belly where they live during the day to hunt.

Traditionally, Zuni carvings are symbolically fed cornmeal.   Each Zuni fetish comes in a box with a descriptive card and a tiny bit of corn meal to tide them over until they reach you.
